Search Engine Optimization
It's been two years already since i have decided to transfer to a new company. I thought it was just the same old things doing a website for this company. But I was wrong. Yes indeed I still work on designing the pages, but the thing is, it's an e-commerce website. I know how to design, but do I know how e-commerce websites works? The good thing about working on I.T is that theres a lot of resources you can found over the internet. I was asked by our boss if I can really make a website from scratch and be seen on the internet? And of course I answered Yes. I was challenged by this new position I'm in right now. But I know I got a lot of confidence that I can make it. Through web resources and forums like SEO Philippines , the google.com and other websites that i pass through when researching, It helped me so much in conquering this new task. With books and help of a friend (JOYCE A.) I'm really learning a lot right now. SEO is a continues learning process, every now and then there's new technology on how to improve your websites in a search engines. So I never stop surfing the net for the new technology. There's still a lot of things to learn and new techniques to master. I just hope I can contribute well on SEO for our company and for also for others to help.

Goodluck on your new job...

eCommerce sites:
osCommerce and Zen-Cart I think are the best. Sama mo na din ang CreLoaded.
As for payment gateways, I think you are using Google Checkout but you can also look at other alternatives: http://webgasm.actiononline.biz/ecommerce/?p=51
